Sunday was cool and rainy. There were 9 people at the 8:00 am service and 63 in attendance at the 10:00 am service. It was the Third Sunday Of Advent-Advent Lessons and Carols. The Processional Hymn was, "Come Thou, Redeemer Of The Earth." The First Lesson was Isaiah 40: 1-8, The Prophet proclaims good news to a people in exile followed by Carol, "Comfort, Comfort Ye My People. The Second Lesson was from Jeremiah 23:5-6, The Lord promises to send his people a righteous King and the Carol was, "Savior Of the Nations, Come." The Third Lesson was Haggai 2 :6-9, The Prophet foretells the advent of the desire of nations, followed by Carol, "Sleepers, Wake! A Voice Astounds Us." The Fourth Lesson was Luke 1 :26-35, 38, The angel Gabriel salutes the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Carol was, "Angelus Ad Virginem." The Fifth Lesson was Mark 1: 1-15, Jesus proclaims the coming of the Kingdom of God and the Carol was, "There's a voice in the wilderness crying." The Offertory Anthem was, "People Look East." The Communion Hymns were, "Watchman, Tell Us Of The Night" and "What Wondrous Love Is This." The Recessional Hymn was, "Hark! The Glad Sound! The Savior Comes."

The altar flowers were given by Kem Rutledge to the glory of God and in loving memory of Sandra Bell. The Sanctuary Lamp was given by Jeanine and Tom Carroll in celebration of Ruth Rutigliano. The Vigil Lamp was given by Jeanine and Tom Carroll to the glory of God and in celebration of Teresa Moran.

The Coffee Hour, as always, was full of laughter and chatter, as our parishioners greeted one another. The Coffee Hour was hosted by "Amana." There were cakes and muffins for all to enjoy with their coffee and tea.

The Christmas pageant rehearsals continued in church during the Coffee Hour and our Church School staff and students sounded angelic!

Sunday afternoon was the fourth Christmas Cabaret hosted by Rhys Ritter. There were forty people in attendance and it was a wonderful afternoon of music, readings, fellowship, food and fun! It was great day at All Saints', once again!
